Why replace them as a set?
The subframe bushings on the Nissan Altima carry the engine, the gearbox and every suspension arm. Once they soften the whole subframe moves, and you get a clunk on pull-away and under braking and a vague steering feel no matter how many other bushings you renew. They all come out in a single subframe-drop, so replacing them as a set saves the labour before it saves the parts.
